Terms of Service
Last updated: February 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dash iOS application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1) Who we are
Dash is operated by Rui Peres (“we”, “us”).
Contact: rui.peres@dashworkouts.app
2) What Dash is (and isn’t)
Dash is a companion app that reads training data from providers you choose to connect (for example, Strava and/or Apple Health) and displays your stats and widgets.
Dash is not Strava, Apple, or Garmin. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
3) Eligibility
You must be able to legally use the App in your country and comply with Apple’s App Store requirements. The App is not intended for children under 13.
4) Your device and Apple terms
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s terms for the App Store and in-app purchases. Apple is not responsible for the App’s content or support.
5) Third-party services and access
To use Dash with Strava, you need a Strava account and you must authorize Dash to access Strava data. To use Dash with Apple Health, you must grant Health permissions in iOS.
Third-party providers may change, restrict, suspend, or remove access to their services or APIs at any time. If a provider limits access, Dash features may stop working or become limited. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.
6) Subscriptions and purchases
Dash may offer paid features through:
- Auto-renewing subscriptions (for example, monthly or yearly), and/or
- One-time purchases (for example, lifetime access), if offered in the App.
Billing and renewal
If you buy a subscription, it renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Pricing, duration, and any free trial (if offered) are shown in the App Store purchase flow.
Managing and cancelling
You manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings app -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. If you want a refund, request it through Apple’s refund process.
7) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the App or interfere with its normal operation,
- attempt to bypass paywalls or entitlement checks,
- reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App (except to the extent permitted by law),
- use the App for unlawful purposes.
8) Changes and availability
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. We may add, change, or remove features. We may also stop offering the App at any time.
9) Termination
You can stop using the App at any time.
We may suspend or end access to the App if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. If you have an active subscription, termination of access to the App by us does not automatically cancel your subscription with Apple.
10) Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available.
Dash depends on third-party services (including Strava and Apple). We are not responsible for third-party failures, outages, or changes.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid to Apple for the App’s paid features in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
